Agreement

The Privacy Policy explains how Ghumify handles personal information.

You must accept the applicable Terms and user policies before posting or uploading user-generated content.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old.

You must provide accurate age and private account information.

If you are under 18, you may not create or use a Ghumify account.

We may suspend or delete an account that does not satisfy the age requirement.

Your account

You are responsible for protecting your login credentials.

You must not:

• sell or transfer your account
• share an account in a way that creates security or abuse risks
• impersonate another person
• evade a suspension or ban
• use multiple accounts to manipulate XP, rankings, promotions, reports or other users

Multiple accounts are not inherently prohibited, but they must not be used abusively.

Notify Ghumify promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Ghumify’s purpose

Ghumify helps users discover Nepal, record eligible visits, earn digital travel progress and participate in travel-related social features.

Features may include:

• destination discovery
• GPS check-ins
• XP and levels
• achievements and stamps
• Ghumify Passport
• leaderboards
• posts and stories
• messaging and groups
• trip organization
• live-location sharing
• events
• other travel tools

Features may be added, changed or removed over time.

Travel information

Travel information on Ghumify may be incomplete, outdated or supplied by users or external sources.

Information concerning permits, access, roads, trails, difficulty, weather, prices, opening times, transport, medical support, rescue services and local restrictions must be independently verified where important.

Ghumify does not guarantee the safety, accuracy or availability of any destination.

Ghumify is not an emergency service

Ghumify is not:

• an emergency response service
• a rescue provider
• a police service
• a medical service
• a guaranteed navigation system
• continuous safety monitoring

Contact appropriate emergency or local authorities where necessary.

Travel safely

Never take unnecessary risk for XP, rankings, stamps or any Ghumify reward.

Do not:

• trespass
• enter restricted areas
• ignore closures
• check in while driving
• use your phone dangerously
• access unsafe locations solely for XP
• encourage someone else to take unreasonable risks

You remain responsible for your travel decisions.

Your content

You retain ownership of original content you create.

By uploading content, you give Ghumify a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, resize, compress, format, display and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to provide Ghumify, display it to the audience you selected, maintain the service, moderate or secure the service, and use service providers to perform those functions.

This license does not transfer ownership to Ghumify.

The license ends when the content is permanently deleted, except for narrowly necessary retained copies allowed by law or these policies.

Marketing use of your content

The ordinary service license does not give Ghumify unrestricted permission to take private or identifiable user content and use it in standalone advertising campaigns.

Where separate marketing use of identifiable user content requires additional permission, Ghumify will request it separately.

Your responsibilities when posting

You must have the rights and permissions needed for content you upload.

Do not upload material merely because it is available elsewhere on the internet.

You are responsible for respecting:

• copyright
• privacy
• personality rights
• confidentiality
• permissions of identifiable people

Where materially AI-generated content could mislead users about reality, travel conditions or authorship, label it appropriately.

XP and achievements

XP, levels, badges, stamps, titles, Passport designs, achievements and similar features are digital Ghumify features.

Unless specific Official Rules expressly provide otherwise, they:

• have no cash value
• cannot be sold
• cannot be transferred
• cannot be redeemed for money
• do not constitute property or currency

Ghumify may correct errors, rebalance the digital economy or reverse rewards proven to have been obtained improperly.

Trips organized by users

Users may use Ghumify to organize trips or groups.

A user-created trip does not mean that Ghumify:

• organizes the trip
• verifies every participant
• conducts background checks
• supplies transportation
• provides guides
• provides insurance
• guarantees safety

Participants remain responsible for deciding whether, when and with whom to travel.

Ghumify-organized events

Ghumify may organize specific real-world events.

Where it does, the event should identify its:

• organizer
• date and location
• eligibility
• activity
• cost, if any
• material safety information
• cancellation terms
• other event-specific conditions

Event-specific terms supplement these Terms. A generic acceptance of these Terms does not replace information required for an individual event.

V1 pricing

The initial V1 service is offered without a Ghumify subscription.

Future versions may introduce paid subscriptions or other commercial services.

Before activating paid subscriptions, Ghumify will provide applicable pricing, renewal, cancellation, trial and billing information. App-store billing will be used where required by platform rules.

Prizes, contests and promotions

A leaderboard position, XP balance, stamp or achievement does not automatically guarantee a real-world prize.

Ghumify may occasionally offer leaderboard prizes, gifts, sponsor prizes, contests, giveaways or random draws.

A promotion exists only when Ghumify publishes separate Official Rules identifying, as applicable, eligibility, territory, start and end, entry method, number of winners, prize, selection method, verification, claim deadline and other required conditions.

The Official Rules control if they conflict with these general Terms for that promotion. No random-draw or other regulated promotion should be activated until applicable legal and store requirements have been addressed.

Apple is not a sponsor of Ghumify promotions unless Apple expressly states otherwise. Google is not a sponsor unless Google expressly states otherwise.

Sponsored content

Sponsored posts and commercial partnerships must be clearly disclosed.

Sponsors do not purchase:

• undisclosed influence over moderation
• private user data
• confidential messages
• false verification status

Intellectual property belonging to Ghumify

Except for user content and properly licensed third-party material, Ghumify and its operator retain rights in Ghumify’s name, branding, logo, software, design, databases, original destination content, achievement systems and other proprietary material.

Do not copy or exploit Ghumify material except as permitted by law or written permission.

Ghumify Passport

The Ghumify Passport is a digital travel and gamification feature.

It is not:

• a government passport
• an identity document
• a visa
• a travel permit
• a citizenship document
• proof of immigration status

Copyright complaints

If you believe content on Ghumify infringes your rights, write to [email protected] and identify the work, disputed material and basis of the complaint.

Knowingly abusive copyright reports may themselves violate these Terms.

Suspension or termination by Ghumify

We may restrict or terminate access for:

• serious or repeated policy violations
• child exploitation
• credible threats
• significant fraud
• repeated harassment
• account compromise
• unlawful use
• serious risk to Ghumify or others

Where appropriate, we provide notice and appeal information.

Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features.

Where practicable, material changes affecting users will receive notice. Urgent legal, safety or security changes may take effect more quickly.

No guarantee

Ghumify aims to operate reliably but cannot guarantee:

• uninterrupted access
• error-free software
• accurate user content
• safe travel
• mobile connectivity
• GPS accuracy
• that another user will behave appropriately
• that every destination listing is current

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Ghumify is not responsible for loss caused solely by independent user conduct, independent third-party providers, circumstances outside Ghumify’s reasonable control, or travel decisions made contrary to warnings or reliable official information.

These Terms do not remove mandatory consumer or other rights.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Courts and authorities with lawful jurisdiction in Nepal remain available.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow a user to waive.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms.

Material changes may receive notice before taking effect where appropriate.

Continued use following a validly notified update may constitute acceptance where legally permitted. Fresh acceptance will be requested where required.
